Walgreens and CVS

I guess I just don't understand how the walgreens and cvs deals work. It seems to me that you wouldn't save money doing it but yet I see photos of just how much people get for very little.

At first I did not understand CVS or walgreens either. But I started looking at different blogs like couponing 101 and took it from there. These blogs give step by step instructions on how to do this. (A lot of it is using coupons and rolling your extra care bucks or register rewards over each week so that you have little coming out of your actual budget. I counted the tubes of toothpaste that I have stockpiled yesteday and I have 17 which are wither crest or colgate- and I paid less than $10.00 for that and that is not all. So check out a couple of blogs they have it all laid out for beginners.

I do it, but I just was commenting about this on my blog. I think you save money, but I also think you end up spending more in the long run because you buy several things that you normally wouldn't. I know people can do it and do it well, but I just get sick of using all those coupons and clipping them and stuff. I will still do the deals if it is an awesome deal and it is something I use anyway, that is my take.

I think I feeling get out to do it, but I dont no if I want to spend so much time and effort into it to be honest. I also think that trying to chase all these deals is what is putting me over on my grocery budget. I am just going to stick with getting great deals on groceries and not focus so much on stocking up on 10 toothpastes and 20 deodorants! I mean if its something like yesterday that free soy candle at Walgreens than sure I will get it but I need to start concentrating on sticking to my budget.
